Best Time to Exercise

Q. When is the best time to exercise?

A. If you exercise in the morning, you can jump start your metabolism for the day, but if you’re not a morning person, don’t force yourself to exercise then. The best time to exercise is the time you are most likely to do it. If that means sneaking out on your lunch break at work or heading to the gym at 9 p.m., then by all means do it then. The important thing is to exercise daily for at least 20 to 40 minutes, whenever you can fit it into your schedule. Both strength training with weights and aerobic exercise helps diabetics manage and control blood sugar levels. Need some motivation to exercise? Here are 15 tips >>
