Grilled Honey Garlic Pork Chops

This Independence Day, take a break from burgers and BBQ and try this mouth-watering version of pork chops. With honey, soy sauce and garlic, these chops are bursting with flavor. Throw on the open flame, serve and savor the compliments!

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dry sherry
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 boneless center-cut lean pork chops (about 1/4 pound each) 

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients except pork chops in small bowl.
  2. Place pork chops in shallow baking dish; pour marinade over pork. Cover and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Remove pork chops from marinade.
  3. Heat remaining marinade in small saucepan over medium heat to a simmer.
  4. Grill pork chops over medium-hot coals 12 to 15 minutes, turning once during cooking and basting frequently with marinade, until meat thermometer registers 155° to 160° F. Makes 4 servings.
